Walk This Way

Instructions:

Everyone has a card. Mark off an open space of at least 15 feet that the entire group can walk across safely. Inform each person that they should create a crazy walk using the movement word on their card. The walk can be any creative expression that uses the movement in some way. Then on the word “GO”, have the person move across the space from one side to the other, using their crazy walk that they created. For Round 2, have them find a partner and figure out how to combine their two walk methods or create a new method, still using both of the words on their cards. Again, on the word, “GO”, have them move across the space linked with their partner doing the new walk. Have the partner groups find another partner group to form a group of 4 with the same objectives as above. To finish, have every person link up and return to their original style of walking that they created for themselves. The challenge is that each person must do their own walk while still staying connected to the whole group as they cross the space one more time.
