This position offers a challenging and exciting opportunity to join the team of a nonprofit organization that delivers dynamic leadership experiences for youth and youth workers.  The Social Media Assistant reports to the Brand Ambassador and assists in providing critical communications and support services for the organization’s expanding programs and team of leadership facilitators. Primary Role: Assist the Brand Ambassador with the creation and implementation of the organization’s communication strategy and systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing social media posting to platforms day-to-day.
  • Marketing administrative work as assigned by Brand Ambassador.
  • Communications with clients via email, newsletter, promotional pieces.
  • Assisting in content planning and execution. 

Qualifications:

  • Communications or marketing experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and computer/app skills (social media)
  • Interest and/or experience in graphic design preferred
  • Team Player with positive attitude and servant spirit
  • Ability to adapt and work at a fast pace (in the moment) as needed

Hours: 7-10 per week

Compensation: $12.50 per hour
